Maureen Locke, DDS
Dentist practicing in McLean
My journey in dentistry began immediately following high school attending ODU in the Dental Hygiene program. After I received my BS degree, I travelled to Switzerland to practice dental hygiene with two Swiss dentists who provided opportunities to assist during post dental training. Two years of unique experience sparked an interest in dental school which I completed at MCV in Richmond, VA followed by a one year general practice residency at USC/LAC Medical Center.
After returning to Virginia to begin my general practice career as a dentist, I also volunteered as a Pre-Clinical Instructor at Georgetown University Dental School in the Department of Occlusion which enhanced my appreciation for the complexities of the jaw. I have completed a Level III course at the Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry.
I frequently volunteer at the Northern VA Dental Clinic where I am Vice President on the Board of Directors.
I love playing various instruments in Irish music sessions along with skiing, sailing, gardening and observing two young adults blossom into successful, confident ladies.
I look forward to providing you with state-of-the-art dentistry and excellent clinical care in our comfortable and welcoming office environment.
